Jean-Marc Nuoffer is a trained paediatrician and metabolic specialist. He leads the interdisciplinary metabolic team and takes care of patients with inborn errors of metabolism.  The main focus of his research is the pathophysiological characterisation of IEM, the development of new diagnostic methods with a special focus on energy metabolism and mitochondrial disordes and mitochondrial medicine.
